Cost to serve Strategic analyzes

As freight and logistics consultants, we work closely with our customers to optimize their transport economy. It is an ongoing process where different freight analyzes and product flow analyzes provide the basis for various profitability projects that are analyzed and monitored.

The cost-to-serve analyzes form the basis for strategic decisions.
Examples of analyzes can be:

  • What does “free shipping” cost?
  • Do we have insufficient profit contribution on certain orders regarding the freight costs?
  • Do we have the correct calculation on the product where freight costs also are included?
  • Which customers cause the highest freight costs?
  • How do the geographic areas affect our profitability?
  • Which customers and products make up most of the freight costs in relation to sales?
  • Cost of goods sold (COGS)?
